Bliss are, without doubt, a band with a huge potential. Drawing from a
wide talent base, each of the four musicians brings to the table a
different musical heritage, elements of which are interwoven into the
fabric. This album, Afterlife, was their first album release. It is
reissued here as an exercise of completion, to accompany the phenomenal
second album, Quiet Letters. Whilst the overall poise and maturity of
Quiet Letters is not as prevalent here, this title nonetheless has the
stamp of ethereal and dreamlike qualities, which are developed to
perfection in the later recording.
